Raul Tovar is a fashion photographer & director based in New York City widely recognized for his polished approach to fashion and the female body.
Born in Monterrey, Mexico Raul moved to New York City in 2011 where he started his career by assisting legendary photographers David LaChapelle and Ruven Afanador.
His editorial work often can be seen in publications like Vogue México & Latin America, Vogue Brasil, L’Officiel, Harper’s Bazaar, GQ, Issue and People. He has photographed personalities such as Kendall Jenner, Rosalía, Selena Gómez, Maluma and worked with top models Christy Turlington, Irina Shayk and Cindy Bruna. His commercial clients include Neiman Marcus, Chanel, Longchamp, Christian Louboutin, Laquan Smith and Saloni.
Raul lives and works in New York City but travels for commissioned work worldwide.
